McChesney/Bianco, LLC Architecture  formerly McChesney Architects has been a continuous, successful, professional organization with a diversified practice in San Antonio for over 44 years.  The firm was established in 1972 when McChesney opened an independent design studio after several years as a project architect with some of the city’s most respected firms.  During the next five years, Michael McChesney Architect evolved into Bradley/McChesney Architects, a partnership that lasted for a decade and became one of the largest and busiest architectural firms in the area.  In 1987, in order to serve clients with more direct, personal control in each phase of their projects, McChesney again began to practice independently.

In January 2008, Michael McChesney partnered with Joseph Bianco.  Specializing in the design of schools, McChesney/Bianco Architecture has delivered comprehensive architectural services on more than 2.5 million square feet of construction totaling $200 million.  Projects include schools, office buildings, sports and recreation facilities, restaurants and retail stores.

McChesney/Bianco Architecture provides full architectural services in-house for site and facilities master-planning, programming, design, code analysis, construction documents and specifications and construction administration, as well as assistance in developing bond issues and capital campaigns.

In 16 March 2021, McChesney/Bianco Architecture was acquired by HFS Company. After the acquisition, HFS Company has expanded its Architecture-Engineering (A-E) services to include local and educational facilities granting them access to service their local community in San Antonio, TX along with communities throughout the country.

HFS Company is a Woman and Service-Disabled Small Business specializing in architecture, engineering, construction management and facility support services to clients across the United States and around the world. To find out more about HFS Company, click here.
